Direction Statement
E5 is designed to help others succeed in their personal lives and their business lives. It is a company that values personal growth, family, and environmental challenges. We have adopted the three pillars that have made other ‘Small Giants” successful. Integrity, Professionalism, and Human Connection. Anyone representing E5 will be passionate about helping others achieve success. They will strive to improve their skills, explore their creativity, and contribute to a worthy cause. We will help clients, vendors, and suppliers become more successful in their businesses. We are purposeful leaders who will take chances, embrace change, and be flexible toward adversity. E5 will do their part in making a substantial difference in the communities we serve and with the people we come in contact with. *Inspired by the book “Small Giants” by Bo Burlingham .
The Difference
We are most concerned with improving your current condition, based on your objectives, together we create metrics to measure how well your security is performing. We help you see the value of an information security program. For example, you’ll know how well you measure against the most basic threats and how well your business deploys the latest patches. With E5 you don’t have to worry about getting lost in technical jargon, we use simple analogies in educating you about your information security needs. Best of all you can call us to tap our expertise without any additional investment, we don’t charge by the hour! We begin all of our meetings with an Information Security Moment™ (ISM). It’s an opportunity for clients & prospects to share an experience that may help others better protect their assets from being compromised. Our Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) will show you the best options to help you get the most out of an Information Security Program. While establishing a standard of best practices, CISSP’s are professionals that must demonstrate a working knowledge in information security. CISSP’s are required to follow the (ISC) Code of Ethics. Annually, in October, we support National Cyber Awareness Month. We partner with the communities we serve, educating, and sharing best practices.
Protecting Critical Information
Your prospects, clients, and customers are the life blood of your business, showing them that you take proactive measures in protecting their information will add value and strengthen your relationship. Imagine demonstrating to your customers and prospects that you have an Information Security Program to measure security effectiveness.
Why
More than ever small businesses are vulnerable to viruses and hacking. Larger companies are locking down their computer systems so tight that Hackers are now eyeing smaller businesses. Industry studies have shown that too many small business owners are not taking information security seriously. Can you continue serving your customers should you be affected by a virus or be hacked? How will you tell your customers that their personal information has been compromised? What is the long term financial impact to your business should your computer system be compromised and you have no continuity plan? How about your reputation in the market place? Will you have to close your business down? Or would you rather be proactive and show your customers & prospects that you have a solid Information Security Program designed to measure effectiveness.
